We caught up with Peeps to find out how they drive digital inclusion and why International Day of People with Disabilities is important to them....
Health in Mind was founded in 1982 with the mission to promote positive mental health and wellbeing in Scotland. They do this by providing a wide range of services and courses to support people and enable them to make a positive difference in their lives.
Health in Mind is committed to supporting as many people as possible with their mental health. Reaching out for support is a massive achievement so when people do visit their website they need to be easily accessible to everyone. This includes people who may have a disability, learning difficulty, or people who may not speak English as their first language.
Health in Mind launched the Recite Me accessibility and language support toolbar on their website to support all visitors to understand charity news, access support information easily, and kindly donate hassle-free.
The Recite Me assistive toolbar allows everyone to customise the Health in Mind website in a way that works best for them to understand and read website content easily.
The accessibility toolbar provides everyone with a unique set of accessibility features including speech functionality, fully customisable styling options, reading aids, and a translation tool with over 100 languages, including 65 text-to-speech voices.
Kick start your journey to make your website accessible and inclusive for everyone by exploring Recite Me’s suite of tools.
