Violence Free Colorado was founded in 1977 and is the statewide domestic violence coalition in Colorado, USA. They work with hundreds of organizations and individuals in local communities across their state to prevent and end relationship violence and support those affected by relationship abuse. They do this by building the capacity of domestic violence and other community-based programs across Colorado, through their statewide advocacy and social change efforts, and by informing the public about domestic violence and survivors’ needs.

Our Brief

Violence Free Colorado supports a diverse range of people seeking important information regarding violence and healthy relationships. To create a fully inclusive website for all visitors they wanted to able to go above and beyond to create a great user experience.

Our Solution

Because domestic violence can affect anyone, everybody needs access to information about violence and healthy relationships. That’s why Violence Free Colorado partnered with us, to install Recite Me’s accessibility and language support toolbar.

The toolbar provides users with a wide range of accessibility and language support options including, text to speech functionality, fully customisable styling features, reading aids and a translation tool with over 100 languages, including 35 text to speech voices and many other features

Now, many more of their website users can access their site in a way that works best for them.
