Consumer Duty Leadership Awards 2024 winner, Cardiff & Vale Credit Union has transformed its digital platform with Recite Me to help support customers and meet the requirements of the FCA’s Consumer Duty regulations.
Cardiff & Vale Credit Union recognised that applying for financial support was a daunting task for most. In alignment with the requirements of the Consumer Duty, they needed to prioritise effective and understandable communication for all consumers.
As a credit union with a not-for-profit arm, dedicated to supporting individuals in a time of need, its goal was to ensure customers had a good understanding of their products and services so that they could reach their financial goals easily and more effectively.
In June 2024, Cardiff & Vale took on the Recite Me toolbar to help them work towards their goals. Now offering a customisable digital experience for all visitors looking for financial advice and services. Users can choose to use a screen reader, reading aids, styling options, and translation tools.
