Bristol Airport is an international gateway committed to inclusivity, serving around 9.5 million passengers annually. In 2019, the airport partnered with Recite Me to better cater to its passengers’ diverse needs, addressing language barriers and accessibility for individuals with disabilities.
With passengers from all over the world, it was important for Bristol Airport to ensure they could support travellers who speak English as a second language, so they could navigate and understand information on the Bristol Airport website in a language that suited them.
Bristol Airport integrated the Recite Me toolbar across its website to ensure travellers could access their flight information and airport services without barriers. The toolbar offers users a range of customisable tools, including a screen reader, reading aids, translation tools, and styling options, making it easier for users to navigate key services.
