St Luke’s Hospice (Sheffield) took on the Recite Me toolbar in April 2022 as part of its commitment to providing accessible care and information to all.

Identifying a need to enhance the accessibility of its website, St Luke’s adopted Recite Me to give the power back to the user. Offering users a range of customisable features, such as screen reading functionality, multiple reading aids, styling options, and an on-demand live translation tool.

With 16 million individuals with a disability in the UK and an estimated 300,000 in need of hospice care, it is key that those who need support online can access it with ease.

The decision to add an accessibility toolbar directly supports St Luke’s Hospice’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) goals, as established by their internal EDI Staff Working Group.
