Our Brief

To address accessibility barriers across the insurance industry, Cura began consultations with organisations about how they could develop some best practices. Across the UK, over 16 million people have some form of disability (The House of Commons Library) and can encounter challenges online. This is something Cura wanted to reduce when visiting their online platform.

Our Solution

To address these online barriers, Cura now offers to Recite Me’s accessibility and language support toolbar, enabling everyone to navigate, perceive and understand their content easily. This assistive technology allows people to customise their experience of the Cura website to suit their individual needs.

The toolbar provides many accessibility and language options including text-to-speech functionality, fully customisable styling features, reading aids, and a translation tool with over 100 languages, including 65 text-to-speech voices.
