We caught up with Peeps to find out how they drive digital inclusion and why International Day of People with Disabilities is important to them....
Rethink Mental Illness is a charity for people severely affected by mental illness. Providing expert information and services, and campaigns to improve the lives of people living with mental illness, their families, friends, and carers. Its mission is to ensure everyone has access to the information and support they need to live a better life.
Over 8 million pages of advice and information are read each year on Rethink Mental Illness’s website. During the pandemic, they have seen an increased demand for content to be available in specific languages, to be read aloud, and for it to be formatted to accommodate a wide range of neurodiverse conditions.
Rethink Mental Illness is one of England’s first mental health charities to make its content available in over 100 languages and allow users to customise their experience depending on individual requirements. We have brought together on-the-fly translations, read-aloud, and styling to make sure that our advice and information content can reach the broadest possible audience.
