London City Airport opened its doors in 1987 with the aim of giving passengers quick access to the financial district of the city. Charles, the Prince of Wales, laid the foundation stone of the terminal building, on the 2nd of May 1986, and in November 1987 Queen Elizabeth II officially opened London City Airport.
London City Airport is one of the UK’s fastest-growing airports, with expansion plans well underway to give them the capability of handling 8 million passengers per annum by 2030. The accessibility toolbar provides several features to give a user full control over the customisation of the website to suit their needs. These features include a screen reader, styling options, reading support, and a translation tool with over 100 languages, including 65 text-to-speech voices.
