Do-It Profiler

Do-IT Solutions was founded in 2006 by two ‘geeks’ who had worked clinically and in research in the area of Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADHD, and autism for many years. It was founded to provide accessible profiling tools and training resources relating to neurodiversity for education, employment, and the justice setting to enable people to showcase their talents and minimise their challenges.

Our Brief

Do-IT Solutions is committed to supporting as many people as possible who are neurodivergent in all places and stages of their lives. Do-It Solutions aim to provide practical tools that allow people to understand how and where to gain support as well as e-learning training that is accessible in design and delivery. Right now, about 15-20% of the UK’s population is neurodiverse (ICAEW) which can affect how an individual interacts and accesses online content.

To prevent this happening on their e-learning platform, Do-It Solutions partnered with Recite Me to tackle online barriers.

Our Solution

We are a Disability Confident Leader and so we do not only talk about accessibility and inclusion but need to showcase best practices. We have used the Recite Me accessibility and language support toolbar on our websites to support all our visitors nationally and internationally and enable everyone to access our information easily.

The Recite Me assistive toolbar allows every person to access the website in a way that works best for them and to understand and read the website content easily. The different features including text-to-speech functionality, and fully customisable styling options, including the 35 text-to-speech voices are really helpful to have. We demonstrate the toolbar when we are training as an example of best practices.
