Birmingham Airport

Our Brief

As part of their assistive travel methodology, Birmingham Airport is committed to equality, diversity and inclusion. With over 13 million passengers going through Birmingham Airport in 2024/25 (Birmingham Airport), they knew that a resource that could meet the diverse needs of travellers was essential to meeting their inclusion goals.

Our Solution

With the Recite Me Toolbar on the Birmingham Airport website, users can have content read aloud using a screen reader, adjust the website’s appearance with styling and customisation tools, enhance comprehension with built-in reading aids, and even translate content into different languages. Since incorporating the Recite Me Assistive Toolbar on its website, Birmingham Airport has seen:

  • 15% increase in website sessions 
  • 20% increase in engaged visits 
  • Overall engagement is up by 4.5%
