Come along to our in-person event hosted in collaboration with the Clear Company and Sharon MacArthur, Miss Menopause. Cultural transformation through a DEI lens is important and complex, but it needn’t be overwhelming. This event will explore how simple, incremental changes that align with your desired culture can be hugely impactful. If you’re ready to improve DEI awareness, reduce stigmatisation and make a positive impact on your company’s culture, this is the event for you.

What will we be covering?

The event will be broken down into 3 sessions led by each of our hosts, there will be free time at the time to network and speak with the hosts.

The Clear Company

  • Non-inclusive behaviours and the impact on organisational culture
  • Top tips on keeping cultural transformation simple and focussed 

Miss Menopause

  • How to simply make menopause business as usual
  • Why a policy isn’t what you need and why using what you have can lead to better results

  • How businesses can benefit from digital inclusion
  • Who is impacted by website accessibility
  • How you can get started making a difference right away across your digital platforms

Address: Northern Design Centre, Abbotts Hill, Baltic Business Quarter, Gateshead, NE8 3DF

Accessibility: The event space is located on the first floor of the Northern Design Centre, where you’ll find accessible toilets on the same floor. The building has designated accessible parking bays and automated doors at the building entrance. For any questions regarding venue accessibility, please contact laura@reciteme.com.

Parking and Transport: There is a public car park at the front of the building with the option to pay by cash or via the app PayByPhone. Gateshead Metro Interchange and Bus Station is around a 15 minute walk away.

Dan joined Recite Me in 2020 with a mission to make the online world more accessible and inclusive. Since then, he has supported hundreds of organisations all over the world, from every sector, to improve digital inclusion.

Miss Menopause

Miss Menopause was formed over 6 years ago in response to the lack of information about menopause in the workplace. Sharon works face to face and online around the country with organisations larger and small. 

Jenny Hinde,
the Clear Company

Jenny has more than 25 years’ experience as a global HR and Transformation Director. Jenny leads the culture and learning business at the Clear Company and oversees the Audit practice working with a wide range of clients.
