Diversity in Recruitment is a company set up by Recruiter, L&D and D&I Advisor Jo Major, to drive equality, diversity and inclusion onto the agenda of recruitment businesses, no matter their size or capacity. Diversity in Recruitment provides a blend of advice and training, with various programmes that will support start-ups, recruitment teams, and business leaders with Diversity and Inclusion. Training is centred around the role of a recruiter, looking at the complete 360 recruitment lifecycle and helping recruiters weave inclusion into everything they do.
Diversity in Recruitment is breaking down barriers and helping companies to provide a fully inclusive recruitment process. To support this, they wanted to provide accessibility tools online to grant website visitors access to all online information and services.
Recite Me is now implemented on the Diversity in Recruitment website to allow all visitors to read and understand the information in a way that works best for them.
The assistive technology on the Diversity in Recruitment website supports those with disabilities, learning difficulties, and people who speak English as a second language. The toolbar has a range of features including text-to-speech functionality, multiple reading aids, styling features and live translation tools with over 100 languages, including 65 text-to-speech.
