Our Brief

Guidant Global wanted to ensure its website was fully accessible to the widest possible audience, including those with additional needs, as part of its work to promote disability confidence in recruitment. As a result, Guidant global chose to enhance the accessibility of its website with the help of Recite Me.

Our Solution

Recite Me accessibility and language toolbar was added to Guidant Global’s website to allow all visitors to access the site in a format that works best for them. Recite Me caters to people with different disabilities (sight loss, mobility, cognitive impairment) in a variety of ways. It lets people change elements such as the font size, plus the font colour and background colour contrast. It also gives the option to have text-based content read out aloud and it translates content into over 100 different languages.

We feel it is our responsibility to act as ambassadors and educate our employees, partners, and clients to grow a greater understanding of disability. This responsibility includes making reasonable adjustments so that our digital information and services are accessible to the widest possible audience. Adding Recite Me to our website has been a key step for us. It ensures that disabled people can access our website in the way that works best for them, which is crucial in the recruitment process. Ultimately we want to provide a voice for disabled job seekers and open doors for them. Making our website more accessible to them and other disabled people helps to create a more disability-confident and inclusive environment in recruitment. "
