Our Brief

Dogwood Alliance advances environmental justice and climate action by mobilizing diverse voices to protect southern forests and communities from industrial logging. As a proud, inclusive organization that draws strength from the diversity of its community, Dogwood Alliance sought to make its website more accessible for everyone, including those with disabilities and people who speak a language other than English at home.

Our Solution

Dogwood Alliance implemented Recite Me online accessibility and language support tools. The Recite Me assistive toolbar enables all website visitors, regardless of their differing abilities or language needs, to customize Dogwood Alliance’s website in a way that works best for them. Recite Me assistive technology includes screen reading functionality, multiple reading aids, customizable styling options, and an on-demand live translation feature that boasts over 100 languages, including 65 text-to-speech.
