That is why the County chose to integrate the Recite Me assistive technology into its website, empowering individuals to personalize their browsing experience.

Our Solution

Recite Me is specifically designed to bridge the gap for users without their own assistive technologies, offering accessibility features to underserved audiences. It complements traditional assistive tools rather than replacing them. Residents can benefit from the following features:

  • Access to a dictionary and translation for individuals with limited English proficiency
  • Text-to-speech functionality for individuals with vision impairments or reading difficulties
