Our Brief

Bossier Parish Libraries provides a variety of resources, events, and services to its patrons and community members such as access to free DMV Permit Practice Tests, Gale Courses for Continuing Education, a streaming service with thousands of films, small business resources, and much more.

In an effort to make their online information and services accessible, adaptable, and accommodating for their community, Bossier Parish Libraries searched for a solution that would eliminate any obstacles preventing users from accessing the websites and their resources.

Our Solution

To ensure their website was user-friendly and inclusive in facilitating information and resources, especially for those who may be more vulnerable or require additional support, Bossier Parish Libraries added Recite Me technology on their website.

Recite Me assistive technology provides a range of tools, including screen reading functionality, multiple reading aids, customizable styling options, and an on-demand live translation feature that boasts over 100 languages including 65 text-to-speech voices.
