Our Brief

An estimated 1 in 5 people in the UK lives with a disability (Office for National Statistics), which can create significant barriers to accessing digital content. From day one, Allwyn prioritised accessibility as a foundational principle. Their digital strategy was built with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) compliance in mind, and they sought to go beyond minimum standards to create a truly inclusive online environment.

Our Solution

To elevate their commitment, Allwyn implemented the Recite Me Assistive Toolbar to empower all website visitors to customise their online experience. Users can have content read aloud with the screen reader, adjust the website’s appearance using styling and customisation tools, enhance comprehension with built-in reading aids, and even translate online content into different languages. This solution has empowered a wide range of users, from employees to lottery players and the general public, to engage with Allwyn’s website in a way that works best for them.
