Training requirements vary based on the organization’s size and type. However, AODA training is a good idea for:

  • All employers and employees in Ontario, including full-time, part-time, seasonal, and contract workers.
  • Volunteers and independent contractors who interact with the public or other third parties on behalf of an organization.
  • Managers, supervisors, and business owners responsible for ensuring workplace compliance.
  • Organizations with one or more employees, including private businesses, non-profits, and public sector entities.

AODA training is important because it ensures that organizations and their employees understand how to provide accessible services, workplaces, and digital content for people with disabilities. Key reasons include:

  • Legal compliance – Organizations in Ontario must comply with AODA regulations to avoid fines and penalties.
  • Improved accessibility – Training helps employees recognize and remove barriers for people with disabilities.
  • Better customer service – Accessible interactions create a more inclusive experience for customers and clients.
  • Workplace inclusivity – Employees with disabilities benefit from a more accommodating and supportive work environment.
  • Reputation and social responsibility – Businesses that prioritize accessibility foster goodwill and meet the needs of a diverse population.

AODA training consists of nine modules, each covering a key aspect of accessibility and compliance. These training modules provide a comprehensive understanding of AODA requirements and best practices for creating an accessible and inclusive environment.

No, this training course does not provide an AODA certification. While we are not an official AODA training provider, this course equips you with essential accessibility skills to help you work toward AODA compliance.
