Best Western Hotels (BWH) Great Britain launched Recite Me assistive technology on www.bestwestern.co.uk to provide an inclusive digital experience to customers online.

With over 4,000 hotels in over 80 countries worldwide, Best Western Group is committed to providing quality services from the moment someone lands on their website all the way through to check out.

The Recite Me Assistive Toolbar on the BWH website ensures that online services are available to everyone, removing obstacles for those with disabilities, visual impairments, learning difficulties, and the elderly population.

It allows all website visitors to customize their digital experience to suit their needs, enabling them to easily research hotels, make reservations, and seamlessly manage bookings online.

The tools enable users to read text aloud and customize the appearance of website pages by adjusting the color, font type, and size. Additional aids, like a ruler and screen mask, further enhance reading ease.

To support their wider accessibility mission, BWH has prioritized equipping many of its hotels with disabled facilities and accessibility throughout their buildings, this includes walk-in showers, sufficient space for wheelchairs, ground-floor bedrooms and much more. Go to Accessible Hotel Rooms with Disabled Facilities at Best Western for more information.

Chris Bowling, Head of Digital Marketing and E-Commerce, at Best Western Hotel Group, commented,

“At BWH Hotel Group Great Britain we are committed to making travel accessible to everyone. Recite Me supports guests in finding and booking independently owned hotels across Great Britain.

To aid Recite Me, we have also added extra functionality to our website. This allows guests to be able to filter hotels by specific accessibility features making finding the perfect hotel even simpler.”
