The Very Group is passionate about diversity and inclusion ensuring that every colleague, customer, and member of their community feels welcomed, represented, and valued for their uniqueness.

Statistics reveal that nearly 40% of disabled applicants feel insecure about getting hired as they believe employers will disregard their application based on their impairment or condition.

To provide an inclusive candidate journey the Very Group needed to be able to support people with a customisable and unique experience to be able to express their true talents.

Our Solution

To continue to support and value each customer and employee, The Very Group has implemented Recite Me accessibility and language tools on their careers site to provide an inclusive recruitment journey. The Recite Me toolbar can be customised and used by anyone but is particularly useful for those with learning difficulties, visual impairments, cognitive or neurological disorders, and those who speak English as a second language.

The assistive technology on Very Careers has features such as screen reading functionality, multiple-reading aids, customisable styling options, and a live translation feature that has over 100 languages.
