Aviation Australia has launched Recite Me assistive technology on its website to provide an inclusive digital experience for everyone online.

Aviation Australia is a world-class training organisation that offers programs to ensure graduates that enter employment are equipped with strong skills and a thorough understanding of aviation quality, safety and environmental standards.

To provide vital aviation training information barrier-free, Aviation Australia wanted to ensure their website was accessible to all, providing customisable digital experiences for the 1 in 6 Australians that are estimated to have a disability.

The Recite Me accessibility and language tools on the Aviation Australia website remove online barriers for those with disabilities, visual impairment, learning difficulties, English as their second language and the population of older age.

This technology is a step forward for Aviation Australia as they continue on their journey to a fully diverse and inclusive digital space.

quoteRae Byrne, Senior People and Culture Business Partner at Aviation Australia commented,

“Aviation Australia is proud to be able to offer Recite Me accessibility tools as an inclusive initiative to ensure we can best support all of our students and customers online.”

The accessibility support available on the Aviation Australia website allows users to read text aloud, change the language and change the appearance of website pages, including adjustments to colours, font type, and sizing. It also allows users to improve the ease of reading with additional aids such as a ruler and screen mask.
