Brisbane Airport

Brisbane Airport is a bustling hub of transport and connection in the dynamic city of Brisbane, Australia. As the country’s third busiest airport, it plays an important role in facilitating both domestic and international air travel, and it has a remarkable fleet of airlines and aircraft. With over 30 airlines operating from its terminals and over 24 million passengers passing through its gates each year.

Our Brief

Brisbane Airport is dedicated to accessibility and inclusivity and is committed to providing a seamless and pleasurable experience for all travellers. Brisbane Airport has previously included accessibility elements in its terminals, such as accessible parking spots and wheelchair ramps, and the airport now wants to extend the drive for inclusivity from offline to online, via its digital platform. With one in every six Australians suffering from a disability, the moment to ditch an exclusive digital experience was now.

Our Solution

To enable digital inclusivity, Brisbane Airport became the first Australian Airport to implement the Award Winning Recite Me Technology on its website.

This will allow all customers, regardless of their background, to enjoy a streamlined booking experience and browse their web platform barrier-free.

The Recite Me Toolbar is equipped with tools for every traveller, including reading aids, ways to style and customise your text, a screen reader and a translator with over 65 text-to-speech voices.
