Glaucoma Australia

Glaucoma Australia was founded with 3 aims which would be integral to all their efforts. This would include increasing the community’s awareness of glaucoma, providing information for glaucoma patients and their families as well as developing resources for financial research. With a heavy reliance on communicating this to a  visually impaired community, how was Glaucoma Australia going to do this inclusively? In truth, The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare reported that 13 million Australians in 2021 have one or more chronic (long-term) eye conditions. So, an inclusive solution for Glaucoma Australia’s resources was needed.
