nomination, Danielle highlighted a gap: while survivor advocacy organizations have long prioritized accessible physical services and spaces, digital content hasn\u2019t always kept pace. Inaccessible websites, resources and training can leave survivors and community members out.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element her role at the Nebraska Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence, Danielle made accessibility a priority when updating the organization\u2019s brand guide and templates and redesigning its session, held in June 2026, covered basic accessibility practices for the digital content participants regularly create, including emails, documents, live virtual training sessions and recordings.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7f183d0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-spacer\" data-id=\"7f183d0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"spacer.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer-inner\"><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ceb97c5 mb-0 elementor-widget practice<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-78207a7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"78207a7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Five people attended the first session live, and another five watched the recording. For comparison, the Coalition\u2019s monthly communication calls typically attract five to eight participants.<\/p><p>Among those who completed the post-session evaluation, everyone agreed or strongly agreed that the training increased their capacity to improve content accessibility. If you develop any sort of materials \u2013 from email to flyers to social media posts to websites \u2013 you will learn something in this training!
