July marks the 33rd anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), an annual celebration of an important civil rights law that works to ensure all people with disabilities have the same rights and opportunities as everyone else. What does Disability Pride PA work to achieve, and what support\/programs do you provide for individuals with disabilities?<\/h2>

Disability Pride PA\u00a0celebrates the disability experience while advocating for an inclusive world. Our programming creates community through social interaction and creating space for social expression.\u00a0<\/p>

What does the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) mean for Disability Pride PA?<\/h2>

The ADA was a giant first step to protecting disabled people from discrimination based on disability in our lives. The ADA is 33 years old and we are still fighting for those rights to be upheld and enforced. We need to update\/amend the law to be more inclusive of people with disabilities that were not addressed in 1990. Disability rights are Civil rights!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

What does the future look like for Disability Pride PA?<\/h2>

Our future is limitless! Disability Pride is a feeling that each and every person should have. Disability Pride looks different for each individual and that is the beauty of disability.
