Along with disability, it encompasses a wide range of differences among individuals, including race, ethnicity, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion, and socio-economic background. The business case for creating a diverse workforce is widely accepted, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.deloitte.com\/us\/en\/pages\/chief-executive-officer\/articles\/ceo-survey.html\">96% of CEOs<\/a> agreeing that Diversity and Inclusion should be a strategic priority. Why? Plus, studies show that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/gusalexiou\/2023\/05\/28\/companies-grossly-underestimating-how-many-disabled-employees-they-have-study-shows\/\">many companies grossly underestimate how many disabled employees they have<\/a>. A study by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bcg.com\/publications\/2023\/devising-people-strategy-for-employees-with-disabilities-in-the-workplace\">Boston Consulting Group<\/a> discovered that:<\/p><ul><li>25% of employees said they have a disability or health condition that limits a major life activity. This is a significant variance, as most large-scale enterprises state their percentage of employees with disabilities is between 4-7%.<\/li><li>Employees with disabilities are 6 percentage points less likely to be happy at work than their non-disabled peers, and nearly 15 percentage points more likely to say that work negatively impacts their mental and physical well-being.<\/li><li>Disabled employees are 1.5 times more likely to experience discrimination at work than non-disabled employees.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
