The NCLD is a not-for-profit organisation that works to improve the lives of the 1 in 5 children and adults in the US with learning and attention issues. The NCLD was founded in 1977 as the Foundation for Children with Learning Disabilities and since has worked tirelessly to create an equal society for all, providing the skills needed to succeed in school, at work, and in life.

Our Brief

70% of websites in the US have critical accessibility issues, leaving those vulnerable with a lack of information and services. To continue to support a diverse range of individuals, the NCLD aimed to provide unlimited access to online information and services on its website.

Our Solution

The NCLD has implemented Recite Me online accessibility and language support tools. The assistive technology on the NCLD’s website includes screen reading functionality, multiple reading aids, customisable styling options, and an on-demand live translation feature that boasts over 100 languages including 35 text-to-speech and styling options.
