The Xmas TV listings are out - which movies do you want to get your teeth stuck into?

At some point this Christmas most of us are looking forward to watching some great films with family and friends.

The Christmas TV listings are out today and there are some monster films to get your teeth stuck into. On Boxing Day Jurassic World, the latest film in the Jurassic Park series, will appear on UK TV screens for the first time when it is shown on ITV.

The original Jurassic Park is a classic and one of many smash hits that Steven Spielberg directed (see also Jaws, ET the Extra-Terrestrial, Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark, War of the Worlds and others).

You may not know it but Oscar-winner Spielberg is part of the estimated 10 - 15% of the world’s population who have dyslexia and other cognitive impairments. And he’s in great company, as there are many other famous dyslexics, both dead and alive.

These include other figures from the world of entertainment such as Walt Disney, Tom Cruise and Orlando Bloom. Then there are heavyweights from the business world, like Richard Branson, Lord Alan Sugar, Steve Jobs and Henry T Ford.

And even one the most famous scientists of all time (Albert Einstein) and one of the greatest painters of all time (Leonardo Da Vinci) were dyslexic.

It really just goes to show that being dyslexic doesn’t mean you can’t achieve great things. Just ask Recite Me’s CEO and founder, Ross Linnett.

Ross was diagnosed with dyslexia when he was studying at university. Not only has he overcome the challenge dyslexia presents him with, but he has also developed two innovative new products (Recite Me and Include Me) to help people with dyslexia and other cognitive impairments.

These products are the backbone of our company, which has grown to become a successful business with a multimillion pound turnover and a client base that includes well-known brands.

Being diagnosed with dyslexia can be daunting for some people, especially at first. So if you know someone who has just found out they have dyslexia please share this blog with them for some inspiration.

Anything is possible, as Steven Spielberg and others have proved!
